Frequently asked questions about ActBase

Short, direct answers to the most common questions about ActBase.

What is ActBase?

ActBase is a Swiss artist portal and virtual manager for DJs, singers, bands and everyone who performs. It brings profile, dates, enquiries and quotes together in one place. Optionally an AI manager supports you with tips for planning your career.

Who is ActBase for?

For solo artists, duos, bands and groups, from hobbyists to professionals. It is kept simple enough for people without technical knowledge.

Is ActBase available yet?

Not yet. ActBase is under construction and will first be tested with an artist from the region. You can register your interest without obligation.

How much does ActBase cost?

Registered artists pay a membership fee. The amount has not been set yet. A commission on bookings is not planned for now.

What does the AI manager do?

The AI manager is an optional AI assistant. It gives tips for planning your career, reminds you of open enquiries and helps with texts. It is planned and not yet available. You always decide.

Who sets my prices?

You do. ActBase suggests no prices and invents none. Whether you charge VAT and whether prices include or exclude VAT is also something you declare yourself.

Who checks the details in my profile?

Nobody individually. Whoever publishes a profile is responsible for its content. Visitors can report anything suspicious with a button, and the administrator reviews the report.

Where is my data stored?

ActBase is intended to run with a Swiss provider. Swiss data protection law applies.

Do I need a website of my own?

No. Your profile becomes a simple artist page with an enquiry form. It picks up your dates automatically.

Which languages does ActBase come in?

German, French, Italian and English.
